In celebration of its 18th anniversary, the International University hosted a distinguished ceremony honoring Libyan athletes, recognizing their achievements and enduring contributions to national pride. This tribute—launched with gratitude and set to continue with God’s grace—aims to elevate their status, appreciate their dedication, and highlight their leadership in the realm of sports.
Held on Monday evening, October 20, 2025, the event was organized by the Office of Social Responsibility and Sustainability. It brought together University President Professor Dr. Mohamed Saad Mubarak, senior university officials, esteemed guests, and sports enthusiasts. The honored athletes and their families were warmly celebrated, receiving heartfelt recognition for their sacrifices and accomplishments.
The ceremony was hosted by the renowned media figure Mr. Zain Al-Abidin Barkan, a member of the Sports Celebration Committee, whose dynamic presentation infused the evening with energy and enthusiasm.
