International University Strengthens Its Role in Value-Based Upbringing with a Visit to the Elderly Home in Msah

In a humanitarian initiative that reflects the noble values embraced by the university and embodies its community role, the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences organized a field visit to the Elderly Home in Msah. This initiative came within the framework of the university’s commitment to community and developmental engagement, particularly toward senior citizens who are in need of care and emotional warmth.

The visit was supervised directly by Mr. Walid Al-Sharif, Coordinator of Social Responsibility and Sustainability at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. A group of students from the faculty participated, interacting with the residents with great compassion and empathy, offering them moral support and kindness that brought joy and happiness to their hearts.

The visit was carried out by first- and second-year students of the Basic Medical Sciences Program, who embodied the noble values instilled in them by their university. Their active participation and sincere enthusiasm played a major role in the success of the visit, drawing smiles on the faces of the elderly.

Special thanks and appreciation go to Mr. Ezz Al-Din Bouchaala for his blessed efforts and continuous support; to Mr. Alaa Al-Din Mahna, Supervisor of Social Responsibility and Sustainability at the Basic Medical Sciences Program, for his excellent coordination and follow-up; and to Mr. Badr Al-Rajhi and Mr. Abdel-Salam Al-Trabelsi for their active participation and valuable contributions to the success of this humanitarian event.

We highly value these efforts and affirm that such initiatives are fundamental in building a compassionate and cohesive society. We pledge to continue this approach, further enhancing the university’s role as an active partner in serving the community.
