In reinforcement of partnership and in implementation of cooperation frameworks, and upon the invitation of Prof. Dr. Nora Naseeb Al-Tajouri, Director of the Department of Environment and Sustainability, the International University hosted on Thursday, May 21, 2026, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Lama, Chairman of the Board of the Climate, Environment, and Development Association, and Dr. Dohaa Fonas, Director of the Libyan Center for Climate Change Research.
The meeting discussed mechanisms for establishing a “twinning” relationship and collaboration with the International University, as well as preparing an agreement to jointly organize future seminars and conferences.
Both sides also reviewed preparations for participation in World Environment Day, which will be held on June 7, 2026, at the International University.
