The Community Responsibility and Sustainability Agency at the Libyan International University held its seventh meeting for the year 2026 on the morning of Wednesday, June 24, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ali Saeed Al-Barghathi, Vice President of the University for Community Responsibility and Sustainability, with the attendance of directors of the departments of Community Responsibility, Environment, and Sustainability, along with specialists from the Agency.
The meeting discussed progress on updating the Agency’s official website and reviewed the achievements accomplished under the 2026 executive plan. These included the development of the volunteering system, the signing of several cooperation agreements in the fields of environment and sustainability, as well as the follow-up on community programs and initiatives implemented during the past period.
Participants emphasized the importance of completing the automation of work procedures, strengthening integration among the Agency’s departments, and advancing policies and programs that support community responsibility and sustainability. These efforts aim to contribute to the University’s strategic goals and enhance its service to society.
The meeting concluded with a set of recommendations designed to improve performance efficiency, develop electronic services, and encourage greater participation of faculty members, staff, and students in volunteering activities and community initiatives.
